Err wasnt the whole point of having Torchwood in Cardiff as thats where the rift is? Oh no of course RTD will just re-script a move for the rift and itll end up wherever they are in the US. Smile Silly me.

thought that was the whole point of shows like touchwood, its general british feeling (with the very good Barrowman), But I guess RTD is more bother about cashing in on the doctor who brand for himself.  Good job he dont own the rights to Doctor Who himself (I asume that stil owed by the beeb?).

I can see it now, Torchwood with an international feel, but.....

Episode 1 - Alien arrives on Earth, where....Cardiff, D'oh.

Episode 2 - Subspace interference caused by none other than the rift, where.....Cardiff , Oh No!

Episode 3 - More trouble centred around Cardiff due to rift activity....TW beginning to wonder why they moved to the States and what kind of Carbon footprint theyre leaving in its wake Smile

Episode 4 - and the series unfolds with a tedious inevitability.

Final episode, the Doctor & Amy arrive in Cardiff....where is everyone he wonders....ah well! LOL
