#1 Heroes
Though it has a touch of "Private Ryan", I think it is a great episode. I do not remember I have seen any episode more dramatic than this.

Well, at LEAST you've started watching them! I was really worried about you when I learned you hadn't seen them.

There are so many wonderful episodes (and some real dogs, don't get me wrong, they're not ALL great) coming up, you'll be as hard-pressed as the rest of us trying to sum up which one was/is your favorite.

Mine? Ummmmm...

Actually I did enjoy the first episode, so far my first impression is it could be better than SG:A, and Amanda Tapping looks alot nicer in season 1 Tongue2

mmmm quite impressed about season 1 already....im starting to see why the likes of Tablet loved it so much (I should be slapped for not watching it, The Nox was great episode....nice seeing Armin Shimerman (one of my favorite star trek actors).

was also impressed with "brief Candle"

Im starting to think SG:SG-1 was far better  than SG:A

Anyway 8 down shed loads to go Tongue

I've always thought SG-1 was the best of the SG shows. Until about season 6 then it slows down as they run out of ideas and people get killed off or let go, and then season 7 and 8 drag a little, then 9 and 10 are just not really SG-1 any more with O'Neil and the general gone..

Another that was quite good was 5th Tribe in season 2, was cool seeing O'neil meeting the Asgard.
