Personally, I find the site WAY to flashy and "busy" for me to feel like even looking here anymore, or visiting so much like I used to.

Besides that, by gawd TMFH, you did a GREAT job developing this timeline!  I am totaly impressed!

Is it true that S0V is still MIA after all this time?

Take care " 'lil buddy!"

Hmmmmm, well I have thought about getting rid of a lot of the junk on the forum and either making a new theme for the forum (Which I have already started), or possibly trying to convert the forum back to its old software.

As for S0V, yeah, he's still MIA. Believe he's at university.

Oh, they're still out there.

The theme would look like the old niteshdw forums and site.

What day in December did you join?

How many of us are still left from that time? It would be interesting to see how far along the rank structure we all got in these past 3 years or so.

Would the revised forum retain the current rank post requirements (circa late 2006 according to the above) or regress back to what we had before (circa 2005)?

Now I am sounding like an old man but anyhoo. I remember back when I joined up some 3 years ago or something everyone started out as an ensign. At 25 posts you became a Lt jg, 50 posts a Lt, some 100 I guess for Lt. Commander, then it really gets hazy I think some 150 for Commander, then 250 for Captain, 500 for Commodore, 850 I think for Rear Admiral, then it really gets hazy for me but I'll say 1250 for Vice Admiral, 2000+ for Admiral and some 5000+ for Fleet Admiral.

The reasons for changing the ranks were obvious, it made no sense to have a growing forum full of captains and admirals with less than 300 and 1000 posts respectively. Plus I remember there was a big push for NCO ranks being added to the forum rank structure. The ammended 2005 rank structure was considered an improvement over the one from 2004 and added even more members to the site.

How is it that I would remember such a thing from so long ago? Well apart from a high enthusiasm for Nite's great site, which I have been and still am very proud to be a part of, I became fond of the forum community very quickly and the forum community was really the only reason for me posting so much on the site. After all these years and the things we've gone through it looks like we're still a strong community and a good example to other websites. I will try to make sure the site enjoys a healthy future.

uh, Admiral TFMF, from your above post you say you showed the 2006 ranks and that you will try to retrieve the 2005 ranks. Aren't the above ranks you posted the 2005 ranks?

The NCO ranks weren't added until June 4th 2005 (But perhaps I should have said I'll retrieve the 2004 ranks, yes).
