It doesn't do anything - the active agent in peppers isn't water soluble, so the relief from drinking water is only fleeting. Milk works better... I forget why.

Anyway, I've watched it... I've yet to be bowled over but it's a reasonable show.

Fox Orders Full Fringe Season

TV Week reported that Fox has ordered up a full season of its SF series Fringe from creators J.J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci.

The network has ordered nine additional episodes, for a total of 22. The Bad Robot/Warner Brothers TV-produced series has averaged a 4.2 rating/11 share among adults aged 18-49 and 10.7 million total viewers since debuting last month, making it the top-rated new show of the season to date in the key demographic.

Fringe is the second first-year series to get a full-season order this fall. The CW's 90210 got a pickup last month.

Fringe stars Joshua Jackson, Anna Torv and John Noble. Bryan Burk and Jeff Pinkner also executive-produce.

despite my skeptical comment above, i meant to TiVo this show, but it slipped my mind.  will try to catch up via the FOX.com full eps.  watched the pilot last night.  it was ok, that's about all i can say.

it is amusing to see josh jackson (aka pacey from "dawson's creek") as the male lead.  hoping james van der beek makes a guest appearance!!!

now it gets really interesting. Leonard Nimoy has beamed aboard the show.

alternate worlds and realities are so fascinating. I love the multiverse.

In season 2, we will get to see more of the "other side". In their world, JFK didn't die and the White House was destroyed in the 9/11 attacks. Did anyone see where Bishop went to visit his son's grave? Peter seems to have died in one world. That leads to interesting ideas. Is the Peter we know a kidnap victim form the other side?

Well, a few spoilers in here for me cuz I just started to watch season one, up to about ep6.

So far I've found it quite interesting and it's no surprise (although only up to ep6) that I'm seeing commercials for season 2.

Appears I will have to make room on my schedule for season 2 this fall.

I'm sorry. I assumed since the season was over that anyone that wanted to see it, had seen it. Spoilers are always common around here.

Not a problem. I knew what I might find coming to this thread well after the season was over.
